This evening me, my wife and bro went to Jalan Alor to have dinner. After that, we saw the parade started. There were lion and dragon dances, flags, Scottish bagpipers, kompang troupe, and Indian dance. Crowds taking pictures here and there with the lions. Here is some photo shots that I manage to get.

Later on, we stroll to the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur to shop. We saw a fashion show when we arrived, and sat on the stairs to watch it. There aren’t any shops open yet. We bought a mooncake from Lavendar, and signed up two EON Bank’s card (free RM 25 cash voucher) aka Pavillion Card. Yee haa!

Gimmees.com – Promotional Items for Corporate Events (USA)
No comments · Posted by Teh Theng Heng in Corporate Ideas
Today’s review is a promotional products supplier website, Gimmees.com from New Jersey, USA.
What I really like about the site was:
- easy to navigate and use
- provides the latest promotional products, company promotional items, top selling products and so forth
- browse the products by category
- buying the products online is easy, you can even have your company logo on custom imprinted pens, bags, cups and apparel
- online customer support, i.e. you can chat with them live!
- you can have the option to order your items in normal or express delivery
The only thing they don’t have is there is no option for international order. Other than that, this site rocks!

[tags]parking malaysia, mid valley malaysia[/tags]
This isn’t my day. This afternoon, I went for an appointment at The Boulevard (next to MidValley), and went to the Boulevard Parking (H, i think). Boy, as expected full of parked cars. I couldn’t find a place. So I stroll round and round, bump one or two times on the right tire when go up to the next floor. The third time, BAM! A FLAT TIRE. This of course ruined my appointment of the day. The next thing in my mind was, where to find a mechanic to fix it? Changing the spare tire would be a waste of time, as it is not the same size of the other tires. In the end, I drove back to my office in Jalan Imbi, slowly with a flat tire. Cost me RM 158. <sigh>.. The good thing is that, at least my parking fee is FREE.
Lesson learned: I will NEVER parked at The Boulevard parking (ZONE H) (a lot of reserve parking, narrow). Park at MidValley Parking instead.

Have you ever pondered, how can you earn extra moo-lah(money) from the comfort of your own home, simple and easy? I pondered that same question from time to time until this site called PayPerPost. So I decided to try PayPerPost out for myself.
I signed up payperpost in end of June 2007. PayPerPost is an advertising website whereby you, as a blogger, write about web sites, products, services, and companies and earn cash for providing your opinion and valuable feedback to advertisers, and get paid. I got to know about PayPerPost from my former college teacher.
It has been two months now, and I was amaze how much I can earned as a side income. There are lots of things you can learn from PayPerPost, such as:
- earning extra moo-lah (income)
- getting to know other Malaysian bloggers, such as HongKiat.com, 5xMom.com
- higher rankings in Technorati, Alexa, and MyBlogLog
- getting more website visitors
- I blog more often
- improvement in my English grammar (thanks!)
- my blog Search Engine Optimization improved
The downside of this site, is that you probably need to get your writeup approved before you get your money. It’s a bit time-consuming as the length it takes is around 1 months time. Other enhancements I would recommend for Asian countries, is that to have an email alert whenever there are new opportunities.
So go and sign up now! ![]()

Master Illusionist David Copperfield to appear in Malaysia (2007)?
2 Comments · Posted by Teh Theng Heng in Uncategorized
Excerpt from TheStar newspaper: He will make his grand entrance here as part of his David Copperfield World of Wonders tour on Oct 30 and 31. [...] The shows will be held at Stadium Negara with two slots each day at 5pm and 8.30pm. For enquiries, call 03-7954 8414. I’m always a fan of David. As far as I remember in my early days, each time I visited my grandparents in their house (KL), they always recorded his latest shows from TV3 for us to watch. It rekindles old memories. Master illusionist David Copperfield will be thrilling Malaysian fans with his magic tricks and illusions soon.
